A couple of weeks back I met my neighbor outside his house while he was washing his car. He inquired about the convertible car seats we have in our car because he also wanted to install one in his car for his newly born baby boy. I opened my car's door for him and showed him the functions of convertible seat and he was so impressed that he ordered one on the same day.

Convertible seats can be used for infants and toddlers. These seats have special five point harness which is inbuilt to secure the baby. They have become quite popular among the parents as they increase the safety of their child. This is also one of the reasons why this product is on the buying list of parents nowadays. In many countries it is a law to use such seats while children are riding the car. For children less than four years convertible car seats are recommended whereas for children above the age of four years booster seats are recommended. These types of seats are recommended for infants because they have soft bones and muscles therefore on a minor road accident they may get some serious injuries. This is one of the major reasons why they need such car seats which can protect them from road accidents.

Normal seats have a lot of straps which makes it really confusing but the way convertible seats for children are made they are very easy to use and they are made to make your child feel more comfortable than any other normal seat. These seats are inclined at an angle of 30-45 degrees as it is an optimum angle for maximum security for a child in case of an accident. These seats are not for the newly born babies and you must wait for your baby to gain the minimum weight required to be seated in the car. For babies aging one year the rear facing convertible car seats are recommended.

These seats are made up of high quality material. The straps used in these seats are very thick and strong. Convertible car seats are equipped with two separate belt paths. One of the belts is used when the seat is rear facing and the other one is used for the forward facing. You must always check your seat belts with the labels attached to them to know if you are using the appropriate belt path along with your convertible seat.
